4-Step Plate Rolling Workflow
From flat plate to finished cylinder — the four-roll design simplifies the process with automatic clamping, one-pass pre-bending and CNC-guided continuous rolling.
Clamp & Align
Feed the steel plate between the top roll and bottom pinch roll. The hydraulic pinch roll rises to clamp the plate firmly in position. The plate is automatically centered and aligned — no manual adjustment needed. The CNC loads the pre-programmed bending sequence.
One-Pass Pre-Bend
With the plate securely clamped, one side roll rises to pre-bend the leading edge. The top roll then rotates forward to advance the plate, and the opposite side roll pre-bends the trailing edge — all in a single forward pass without reversing the plate.
CNC Continuous Rolling
Both side rolls move to the CNC-calculated bending position and continuous rolling begins. The servo system progressively adjusts roll positions pass by pass until the target diameter is achieved. Real-time feedback ensures uniform curvature across the full plate width.
Unload & Verify
