1. General Policy
KAVDO manufactures and supplies industrial sheet metal equipment primarily for business and commercial use.
Due to the customized and technical nature of our machinery, orders are processed based on confirmed specifications and contractual agreements.
Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with the terms outlined below.
2. Order Confirmation
An order is considered confirmed when:
- A Proforma Invoice (PI) is issued by KAVDO
- The buyer confirms specifications
- The required deposit payment is received
Once confirmed, production scheduling begins.
3. Cancellation Before Production
If the buyer requests cancellation before production starts:
- The deposit may be refunded partially or fully
- Administrative and banking fees may be deducted
- Any engineering or documentation costs already incurred may be deducted
KAVDO reserves the right to determine whether production has officially started.
4. Cancellation During Production
If cancellation is requested after production has begun:
- The deposit is generally non-refundable
- Costs related to materials, labor, and components already sourced will be deducted
- Additional compensation may apply depending on production stage
Industrial machinery is produced based on confirmed technical specifications and is not considered standard stock goods.
5. Customized Equipment
For machines built according to customized:
- Voltage requirements
- Special tooling
- Non-standard configurations
- Customer-specific modifications
Deposits are non-refundable once production begins.
6. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:
- KAVDO fails to deliver within the agreed contractual timeframe without mutual agreement
- Proven manufacturing defect prior to shipment that cannot be corrected
- Order cancellation approved in writing by KAVDO management
Refunds will not apply to:
- Change of business decision
- Market condition changes
- Project cancellation by the buyer
- Import duty or local tax issues
- Incorrect machine selection by the buyer after specification confirmation
7. Quality & Warranty Claims
Refunds are not the primary resolution method for technical issues.
All machines are covered under KAVDO’s Warranty Policy.
In case of technical problems:
- Remote technical support will be provided
- Replacement parts will be supplied under warranty terms
- On-site service may be arranged where applicable
8. Shipping & Risk Transfer
Once the machine is shipped under agreed Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.):
- Risk transfers according to contractual terms
- Claims related to transportation damage must be handled through the insurance policy
Refund requests based on shipping damage are subject to shipping insurance procedures.
9. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible
- Bank transfer fees will be deducted
- Processing time may take 7–21 business days depending on banking procedures
10. Governing Terms
All refund and cancellation matters are governed by the signed sales contract and agreed commercial terms.
In case of discrepancies between this page and a signed contract, the contract terms shall prevail.
