The KAVDO Column Hydraulic Press (Y32 Series) features a four-column three-beam structure with independent main cylinder, ejector cylinder and blank holder cylinder — enabling deep drawing, stamping, forging, powder compaction, straightening and composite molding with fully programmable pressure, speed and dwell time.

Full-Stroke Tonnage
Unlike mechanical presses that peak at bottom dead center, the hydraulic press delivers full rated tonnage at any point in the stroke. Adjustable approach speed, pressing speed and return speed allow optimal cycle times for every application — from slow deep draws to rapid blanking.
Proportional Pressure & Speed
Servo-proportional valves provide stepless adjustment of pressure (0–100% rated tonnage) and ram speed (approach, pressing, return) via PLC. Recipes can be saved for instant recall — enabling rapid changeover between jobs with repeatable process parameters on every cycle.
Four-Column Precision Guidance
Four precision-ground alloy steel columns guide the moving beam with zero lateral play, ensuring parallel ram travel and uniform pressure distribution across the entire bolster area. This eliminates eccentric loading concerns and guarantees consistent part quality even with off-center dies.
Multi-Process Versatility

From die setup to finished parts — the four-column hydraulic press delivers programmable, force-controlled forming with full operator control at every stage of the pressing cycle.
Program & Setup
Load forming recipe on the HMI touchscreen — set tonnage, approach speed, pressing speed, return speed, dwell time and ejector sequence. Install die and verify safety interlocks. The press is ready in minutes with stored recipes.
Load Material
Place sheet metal blank, billet, powder charge or composite preform onto the bolster. Blank holder descends to clamp workpiece edges (in drawing mode). Sensors confirm material presence and proper positioning before cycle start.
Press & Form
Ram approaches at high speed, transitions to controlled pressing speed on material contact. Proportional valves regulate tonnage in real time. Programmable dwell holds pressure at bottom for material flow, curing or consolidation as required.
Eject & Unload
Ram returns at high speed. Ejector cylinder pushes finished part off the lower die. Blank holder releases. Part is removed manually or via automation. Cycle counter increments and next cycle begins immediately.
