Precision Angle Adjustment & D2 Blade System
The defining feature of the KAVDO adjustable angle notching machine is its quick-change angle mechanism. The upper blade assembly and lower blade pair are mounted on hardened pivot pins with precision-machined bearing surfaces. A graduated angle scale marked in 1° increments allows the operator to dial in any angle from 45° to 135°, then lock it securely with a single handle turn.
The blade system itself uses D2 tool steel inserts, vacuum heat-treated to HRC 58–62 and precision-ground to ±0.02 mm tolerance. The adjustable blade clearance accommodates material thicknesses from 0.5 to 6 mm. Combined with the hydraulic hold-down clamp that delivers up to 35 kN clamping force, the result is distortion-free, bend-ready notch edges at any angle — every time.

How It Works
4-Step Notching Workflow
From angle setting to bend-ready notched corners — a fast, repeatable process that takes seconds per notch with quick angle changes between jobs.

Set Angle & Depth
Dial the desired notch angle on the graduated scale (45°–135°) and lock with the quick-lock handle. Set the backstop to the required notch depth. Adjust blade clearance for your material thickness.

Position Sheet
Slide the sheet corner into the machine throat until it contacts the backstop. Align the sheet edge against the guide fence for accurate, square notch positioning at the selected angle.

Notch & Cut
Activate the hydraulic stroke via foot pedal or two-hand control. The hold-down clamp secures the sheet, then the angled upper blade descends to remove the notch in a single, clean stroke.

Remove & Bend
